Ingredients
2 cups white whole grain flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 1/4 cups Planet Oat Barista Lovers Oatmilk, at room temperature
2 eggs, at room temperature
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted, cooled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Assorted fresh berries
Vanilla whole milk Greek yogurt
Maple syrup
ground cinnamon
Directions
  1. Preheat a Belgian-style waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
  2. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt to a large mixing bowl. Whisk well.In a separate bowl, whisk together the Planet Oat Barista Lovers Oatmilk, eggs, butter and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Brush the waffle maker with neutral oil. Add a scoop of batter to the waffle iron. Follow the directions for your waffle maker for amount of batter to add – most waffle irons will call for between 1/2 to 1 cup of batter per waffle. Close the waffle iron and cook waffles until crisp and golden brown. Most waffle makers will cook a waffle in 3-5 minutes; adjust according to instructions for your waffle maker.
  5. To keep waffles warm, place cooked waffles on a wire rack set on top of a baking sheet in the preheated oven while the rest of the waffles are made.
  6. Top waffles with fresh berries, a dollop of vanilla Greek yogurt, a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
  7. Serve.
