Ingredients
½ cup FAGE Sour Cream
8 slices bacon, diced
2 tablespoons cornstarch or all-purpose flour
2 cups lager, ale, or pale ale beer
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8-ounce) cream cheese, at room temperature
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt to taste
pepper to taste
Chives, for garnish
Directions
  1. In a medium cast iron, add diced bacon and cook until crispy.
  2. Place the bacon onto a paper towel to drain.
  3. Remove half of the bacon fat in the pan.
  4. Add cornstarch to the remaining bacon fat and whisk to combine over medium-low heat for about 3 minutes.
  5. Add beer to the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the pan and stir for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is well combined.
  7. Add cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, reserved bacon, and stir to combine.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste, garnish with chives.
  9. Serve with pretzels or your favorite vegetables.
