Ingredients
2 tbsp Bowl & Basket Specialty Bacon Fat
1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved
1 small onion chopped
Cooked chopped bacon for serving (optional)
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large skillet (cast iron if possible) melt bacon fat over high heat.
- Add onions and brussels sprouts and cook, stirring occasionally, until sprouts are golden brown and caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and toss bacon (optional) into pan. Serve immediately.
