Ingredients
4 pieces of bacon (optional)
5 oz. container of Wholesome Pantry Spinach (optional)
2 cups Wholesome Pantry Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 cups Bowl & Basket cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
14oz. Marinated artichokes (drained and chopped)
1 round loaf of sourdough bread
Olive oil
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

 

2. (Optional) In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and chop into small pieces. Using the bacon fat left in the pan, saute the spinach.

 

3. Cut the top off the sourdough loaf and remove the center leaving a ¾″ shell. Be sure to keep the “insides” for dipping later!

 

4. Cut the top and the insides of loaf into bite sized squares for dipping. Drizzle with olive oil and garlic salt to taste. Bake for 5 minutes.

 

5. Beat cream cheese and sour cream with a mixer on medium until fluffy.

 

6. With a spoon, stir in the garlic, artichokes, shredded mozzarella cheese, and sauteed spinach and bacon if including. Once combined, microwave for 5 minutes, stirring after about 3 minutes.

 

7. Add the cheese mixture to the bread bowl. Top with more mozzarella cheese.

 

8. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the center is hot.
